The Study Portal

Some may think of me as just the Blurry Pastor, but my real heart is in studying and teaching people to love the word of God, no matter what the topic--as Paul says, "the whole council." I love taking deep dives into the Bible, to really try and figure out what's going on. I have this presupposition, you see. God's word really is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience to God. I take that absolutely seriously. If my experience or my thinking and reasoning or even my tradition somehow contradicts what I think is happening in God's word, it means I have the problem, not it. There's where it starts and ends with me. To that end, I offer you through this portal as many resources as I can think of (there will always be more) to help you achieve the end of coming to know God through learning his word. After all, the word of God is a reflection of the Word of God, Jesus, who is the very image of God the Father, who saves us and loves us in Christ.
